Especially about the grocery shopping.
Seriously, this is very helpful to know I'm not alone or silly in my thinking. If I'd followed your advice, I'd have married a non-Christian. Or at least, a non-Anglican. Or, more likely, not have gotten married at all. As it is, I met my wife in my first parish, we're about to celebrate 36 years of marriage, and it's been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Tim ChestertonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467092921624269928.post-21395676612210397452014-09-03T15:18:35.097-04:002014-09-03T15:18:35.097-04:00Thank you for this. The list here seems to completely apply to my situation too.Rick+https://www.blogger.com/profile/03322574092020268536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467092921624269928.post-27711125850975823862014-09-03T12:51:48.378-04:002014-09-03T12:51:48.378-04:00Having dated, and married, a priest, I can testify...Having dated, and married, a priest, I can testify to the wisdom of your list. And that most apply to anyone (what a great line about flowers and weeds in both gardens!) Many times I've said that I married a man who happens to be a priest - I did not marry a priest. And we continue to live by the Saturday is a school night rule (sometimes to my chagrin.)

Thanks for your blog - I look forward to reading each entry.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12940190648921826826noreply@blogger.com
